The first study resource we recommend to all designers is the Interior Design Reference Manual by David Ballast, 7th edition. This book covers all three sections of the exam and is updated for the latest exam version. The same author and publisher also offer practice tests (mock exams) for each section of the NCIDQ and flash cards for the IDFX and IDPX exams.
